MCA Building Division

The MCA Building Division provides overall representation of the vertical building contractors within the MCA and provides educational programs addressing building contractor issues. This division meets on an as-needed basis. 

Building Division members have had the opportunity to take part in educational round-table discussions during the annual Winter Convention and Summer Outing events. These round-tables are designed to highlight issues surrounding vertical construction. Topics including Insurance & Bonds, business succession planning, architectural design, and insights from project and business owners.

Members of the Building Division are also eligible for consideration for the MCA’s Excellence in Construction Awards. The Building Category is specifically designed to recognize outstanding projects, with sub-categories including Best Commercial projects, Best Institutional project, Best Industrial project, and Best Historic Restoration.
