This Montana-produced and DEQ-certified 6-hour SWPPP Administrator Re-certification Course concentrates on administrative processes with a focus on preparation and development of the SWPPP. It offers tips and tools to simplify the permitting process and covers the following:
- Proper employment and maintenance of Best Management Practices (BMPs) for erosion and sediment control.
- Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) requirements.
- State and Federal agency compliance inspections.
- Documentation of SWPPP inspections and evaluations.
- BMP inspections and evaluations.
- General permit information, criteria, and requirements.
Please note: To qualify to take this re-certification class, SWPPP administrators must either still be certified, or within six months of the expiration of their certification. This course will re-certify participants, regardless of initial training provider (proof of certification is necessary).
Upon successful completion of the written examination, individuals will be re-certified as SWPPP administrators by the Montana Contractors Association
